We all know that the French are not really famous for ignoring cheese. Thankfully for me, the choice of said cheese on offer has fantastically improved in the UK these last few years. After all, it is in England that I have discovered baked camembert – but more on that another day.
Here is a beautiful set of Zassenhaus cheese knives. I love the colours and the style would go with anything.
You can find this for £19.25 at Mulberry Hall

As any respected French gourmande and gastronome, I am very fond of Le Creuset cookware.
The products are beautiful, hard-wearing but above all, they have that traditional feel which makes me want to spend the day baking knowing that anything coming out the kitchen will be a success. My grand-mothers would be proud.
Knowing that, how am I supposed to resist this mini-heart shape ramekins in cerise, cassis and rose? They are so cute, and perfect for mini puddings for a romantic dinner. One for each, and one to share.

There is a rumour… that Easter Eggs are brought to your home in a basket carried by the Easter Bunny. Whilst very cute, we all know that the Easter Bells dropped eggs and chocolates in our gardens when they fly back from Rome. Don’t we? This is a lovely French tradition – if you do not want to believe in it, you can still wish for one of these wonderful bells from Rob Ryan. There are all in Berry Red:
♥ This Bell will ring when we kiss goodnight – Vase (£35)

♥ This Bell will ring when I hear you sing – 4 plates (£28)

♥ This Bell will ring when you take your pencil and draw and write in me again – Notebook (£12)

Have a very happy Easter!
